SERVICE POLICIES, TERMS & FOOD SAFETY WAIVER
Chef Pav Global Cuisine LLC
Last Updated: January 20, 2026
Chef Pav Global Cuisine LLC (“Chef Pav,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional culinary services including, but not limited to, private in-home chef services, event catering, meal preparation (one-time or recurring), and cooking classes (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy outlines our procedures regarding menu planning, scheduling, cancellations, kitchen requirements, payments, service charges, and food safety. These terms apply to all Services and events unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By booking or participating in our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.
1. Menu Planning & Proposals
Chef Pav will collaborate with the client to create a custom-curated menu proposal based on the information provided by the client.
For quality control and accuracy, all menu-related correspondence must be in writing, preferably via email. Menu proposals must be reviewed and confirmed at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled service date. Failure to confirm within this timeframe will be treated as a last-minute cancellation and subject to the applicable cancellation terms.
Menu planning, correspondence, travel time, and ingredient sourcing are included in the quoted service rate.
All menu items are subject to change due to ingredient availability, quality standards, seasonal considerations, or other unforeseeable factors. Chef Pav prioritizes sourcing organic ingredients first, followed by local and sustainable options, and always selects ingredients based on best available quality. Clients may request specific stores or vendors; however, availability cannot be guaranteed. In some cases, ingredients may be sourced from neighborhood grocery stores, specialty markets, or farmers markets.
2. Scheduling & Access to the Property
Chef Pav will arrive at the client’s location at the agreed-upon date and time. Required kitchen access time varies by service and will be communicated in advance.
The client is responsible for ensuring:
-
Timely access to the property
-
A clear and usable cooking area
-
That pets, children, guests, and other distractions are kept out of the kitchen area
Clients are expected to allow the chef to perform professional services without interruption.
If Chef Pav is unable to access the property due to locked doors, pets, changed access instructions, or similar issues, the booking will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and the full service charge will apply.
3. Kitchen Condition & Work Environment
Chef Pav respects the client’s home and equipment and will leave the kitchen workspace in a condition comparable to how it was found, including removal of personal equipment and organizing remaining groceries.
Clients must ensure the kitchen is clean, safe, and ready for use at the scheduled start time. Meal containers must also be prepared and accessible.
If a chef arrives to an unsuitable or unclean workspace, the condition may be documented, and a cleaning fee of $150will be added to the invoice.
If the kitchen does not meet basic health or safety standards (including but not limited to lack of running water, electricity, or safe work conditions), Chef Pav will prepare what is reasonably possible under the circumstances. The full service rate will still apply, and the client remains responsible for grocery costs.
For safety reasons, clients and guests must refrain from entering the kitchen during service, particularly children and pets, as there is a risk of injury.
4. Cancellations by Client
Clients are required to provide at least fourteen (14) days’ advance notice to cancel a scheduled service.
-
Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance may qualify for a refund of amounts paid beyond the deposit, a credit for future services, or rescheduling.
-
Cancellations made within 14 days result in forfeiture of the deposit.
-
Cancellations made within 6 days, same-day cancellations, or no-shows will result in full charges, with no refunds or credits issued.
5. Deposits, Invoices & Late Fees
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve services.
The remaining balance is invoiced and due on the agreed service date, unless otherwise stated in writing.
If payment is not received within seven (7) days after the service date, the following will apply:
-
A 10% late fee on the outstanding balance
No credit card processing fee is applied.
6. Service Charges, Gratuity & Taxes
A 20% service charge is added to all food, beverage, and administrative fees.
A portion of this service charge may be distributed as gratuity to service staff assigned to the event.
Service charges are taxable under Florida law.
Applicable Florida sales tax will be added to the total invoice.
Prices, menus, and service terms are subject to change.
